
Elizabeth A. (Pasquantonio) Prendergast, 86 of Franklin died March 23 in Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John A. Prendergast who died in 1968.
Born in Franklin, February 6, 1922, the daughter of the late Antonio and Valentina (Moscone) Pasquantonio, Mrs. Prendergast was a lifelong Franklin resident.
She had been a clerk at the Franklin Mill Store for many years.
A lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Church, she enjoyed cooking, reading and doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter, Bette Jane Arnold and her husband, Richard of Franklin.
She is also survived by her granddaughter, Sarah Arnold of Franklin.
Mrs. Prendergast was the sister of the late Theresa Martello, Fred Pasquantonio, Anna Gentili, Lena Turinese, Peter Pasquantonio, Fannie Musto, Mary D’Amico, Rose Laundry and John Pasquantonio.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 27 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
