Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm.

Mrs. Lowe-Poirier died Sunday, February 16, 2003 at Senior Residential Care at Silver Lake, Kingston, (formerly Evanswood) after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton daughter of the late Loyami and Rose (Thibedeau) Wedge. She was educated in Brockton schools and had been a resident of Brockton until moving to Carver in 1979. For over 30 years she had been employed at the Howard Johnsons Food Commissary in Brockton. She enjoyed bowling, and had been on the Howard Johnson League as well as other leagues. She also enjoyed bingo, ceramics, crocheting and was an avid sports fan.
She is survived by her husband Armand A. Poirier, one son Eldon C. Lowe of Raynham, 2 grandchildren, her stepchildren, Linda Poirier Tetrault of Brockton, Donna Poirier Daylor of Carver and Richard Poirier of Middleboro, many nieces and nephews, 8 step grandchildren and 2 step great granddaughters, one brother Vincent Wedge of Brockton, 3 sisters Lucille Mitchell of Brockton, Marilyn Gorman of Brockton and Alice Brady of Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Watkin C. Lowe and sister of the late Edward Wedge.
