Obituary

ANDOVER - Mary P. (Tamkun) Bober, 91, a resident of Andover, and formerly a resident of Lowell, died on Friday, March 21st, 2008 in Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence. She was the loving wife of the late Walter J. Bober who died in 1988.

Mary was born in North Chelmsford, on April 14th, 1916, a daughter of the late John and the late Sofia Tamkun. She graduated from North Chelmsford High School.

Mrs. Bober was employed by the Raytheon Company where she worked as an assembler and runner for 20 years, until retiring in 1968.

She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity.

In her free time she enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.

Mary is survived by her son, Richard J. Bober and his wife Francine of Dracut; her daughter, Elaine Ordzie of Salem, MA; four grandchildren, Cheryl L'heureaux, Edward Bober, Leora Gardner, and Jesse Ordzie; four great grandchildren, Leora L'heureaux, Nicole L'heureaux, Adam Bober, and Devon Gardner.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 8:30 until 9:30 AM at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, in the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Lowell. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
