WORCESTER-Bernice J. (Temoczko) Crowley, 82, of 157 Brookline Street died Sunday, February 16th, her husband’s birthday, in Radius Healthcare Center at Millbury after a short illness. Her husband, Edward F. Crowley died in 1990. She leaves a son Kevin E. Crowley of Millbury; a daughter Sharon E. Belcher of Leicester; a brother, Edward Temosko of Falmouth; a sister Irene Mikoloski of Northboro; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. A sister, Florence Rourke died in 2000.
She was born in Webster the daughter of Alexander and Anna (Otruba) Temoczko. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1939. Mrs. Crowley worked as a sales associate for Weintrabus Fabrics, retiring after 10 years. Previously she worked as a nurse’s aide in Saint Vincent Hospital for several years and as a secretary for Melville Shoe for several years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She loved animals, especially cats and feeding the birds. She enjoyed gardening.
The funeral will be Thursday, February 20th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 19th from 6:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
