Iolanda (Radin) Ravasini, of Revere, formerly a long-time resident of Somerville, died at home Thursday, in the company of her loving family. She was 95.
Born and raised in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giorgio and the late Anna (Crisman) Radin. She came to the United States with her family in 1956 and settled in Somerville. She was a dedicated wife and mother who enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She was also a member of the Dante Alighieri Society.
She was the Beloved wife of the late Giacomo Ravasini. She was a devoted mother to Frank Ravasini and his wife Carmela of Medford, George Ravasini and his wife Piera of Wilmington, Anna Donati and her husband Armand of Revere, Ina Iverson and her husband Lars of Hollis, NH. She was a loving grandmother to Iolanda, Giacomo, Lisa, Georgett, Laura, Lars, Anita and the late AnnaMaria. She also leaves 6 Great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Monday, March 24, at 11 AM followed by a funeral service in the Chapel of Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Monday Morning from 9 – 11. Services will conclude with Entombment at Woodlawn Community Mausoleum.
