McCafferty of North Attleboro, March 19,2008 Mary H. (Moran) age 80. Beloved wife of George F. McCafferty retired Captain Boston Fire Dept. of Quincy. Daughter of the late John and Catherine (McLaughlin) Moran. Loving mother of Catherine A. McCafferty of North Attleboro and Robert F. McCafferty of Washington D.C. Mary died at the Madonna Nursing Home in North Attleboro on Wednesday after a period of failing health. Born in Brookline she attended Mission Grammer School and was a graduate of Mission High School Class of 1945. She was employed by Grater Boston Distributors for 5 years and at Jordan marsh Store in Boston in the Accounting Department and then for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Revenue for 16 years. She was a resident of Mission Hill for over 30 years and has lived in North Attleboro for the past 3 years. She loved to read Agatha Christie Novels and traveling. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY Tuesday March 25th. at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Mission Church, 1545 Tremont St., Roxbury at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment in Mass. National Cemetery at 1:15pm.
