Michael E. “Pete” Petersen 40, died unexpectedly Tuesday March 18th.
Born in Plymouth and raised in Whitman he was the son of Edward C. and Pamela M. (Sommers) Petersen of Whitman.
Michael was a 1986 graduate of South Shore Votech and a member of the Hanson Rod & Gun Club.
He was a resident of East Bridgewater for more than 10 years, and worked in the Telecommunications field for many years.
He truly enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Ryan Petersen and his wife Erin of East Bridgewater, his sister Lynn McKay and her husband Brian of Hanson, his nieces Sadie and Willa McKay and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His funeral will be held Tuesday March 25th at 10 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Monday March 24th from 4-8 PM.
