Doris Shershow, a lifelong resident of Everett, died on March 19th, 2008 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 87 years old.
Doris was born in Malden, MA and was educated in the Everett School system and high school. She was very devoted to her family and was happy to be a homemaker caring for her late husband Julius Shershow and her children.
Doris was the devoted mother of Myron Shershow of Medford, Joan Shershow of Medford, and Sheila Greenberg and her husband George of Peabody. She was the loving grandmother of David Greenberg and his wife Jenn, and Alisa Oliver and her husband Scott. Doris was a loving great grandmother to Emily and Hannah.
Graveside services will be held at the Pride of Lynn Cemetery, Lynn, MA on Monday, March 24th at 11:00 AM. Memorial observance will be held at the home of Sheila and George Greenberg of Peabody on Monday following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Doris’s memory may be made to the Thayer Lindsley Nursery at Emerson College, 120 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116.
