Humphrey Liston (Boat) Walker Humphrey Liston (Boat) Walker, 91, Clarksville, died Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 am Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Bob Mitchell and Rev. Don Walker officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday and from 9 am until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born February 18, 1917 in Houston County, TN son of the late Henry Walker and Pearl Adams Walker. Mr. Walker was retired from Austin Peay State University where he was a policeman. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and the Erin Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Annie Ruth Moore Walker, a son Robert L. Walker (Jamie), of Goodlettsville, TN; a granddaughter, Susan Howe, Nashville; and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Howe. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Gifts From The Heart, General Treasuer, Church of the Nazarene, 6401 Paseo, Kansas City, MO 64131.
