Earl “Bud” Warren, 69, of 15 Joy Avenue, died Thursday, December 20, 2001 in his residence after a brief illness. He was born in Laconia on July 6, 1932, the son of Earl F. and Marion (LaRoche) Warren Sr.
Raised in Laconia, he attended Sacred Heart School. He enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. He had attained the rank of Corporal at the time of his discharge in 1953.
Mr. Warren was employed by the Quin-T Corporation for 23 years as a machinist. While residing in St. Cloud FL for ten years, he was employed by Johnson Controls of Orlando.
Following his return to the area in 1997, he served on the custodial staff of the Winnisquam Middle School until his retirement on Dec.31, 2000.
Bud was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1670 and the Wilkins-Smith Post #1, American Legion, both of Laconia. He had served as Corps Director for the Lakes Region-aires Drum & Bugle Corps and later for the Crimson Cavaliers Drill Team of Belmont.
Family members include his wife of 25 years, Barbara (Dube) Warren of Belmont; three sons, Earl F “Becky” Warren III of Gardner MA, James A. Warren of Nashua and Thomas J. Warren of Worcester MA; three step-daughters, Debra Lamere of Peterborough, NH, Cathi-Anne Bean of Belmont and Susan Marcoux of Concord; nine grandchildren; a sister, Arlene Hall of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Monday at 9 AM. Rev. Adrien Longchamps, Pastor will be the celebrant. Spring burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, 780 N. Main St., Laconia NH 03246. Timothy C. Molan and David L. Furber are the funeral directors.
