Sally (Ray) Castine, of Reading, passed away on Sunday March 16, 2008 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was 93 years of age.
Born in Everett, Sally was the daughter of the late Thomas Ray and Sarah (Duncan) Ray both of Ireland. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, grand mother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all.
Sally was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth J. Castine. She was the devoted mother of June Saunders of Reading, Margaret Lynch of Billerica, and Thomas Castine of Peabody. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 12. Dear sister of the late William and Thomas Ray and her twin sister Margaret Ray.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Sally’s Life will be conducted in the Chapel of the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
