New Bedford - Audrey (Tripp) Rittenhouse, 77, of Acushnet died Friday, March 14, 2008 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Scott A. Rittenhouse.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Elliot C. Tripp, Sr. and the late Esther (Ingalls) Tripp she had live in Acushnet for most of her life. She was a member of the Acushnet Wesley United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by 3 sons: Floyd A. Rittenhouse of Orlando, FL, Larry S. Rittenhouse of Brockton and Kevin J. Rittenhouse of Acushnet; 1 sister: Barbara Handy of Lakeville; 8 grandchildren: Heidi, Scott, Daniel, Steven, Shane, Shannon, Lillian and Alex; several nieces and nephews; she was the mother of the late: Dennis Rittenhouse and Judith Caruthers; sister of the late: Joseph Tripp, Elliot Tripp, Jr. and Evelyn Rittenhouse.
Memorial Service will be Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at Kirby Funeral Home.
Interment Service will be private.
