Donald Ray Shoupe, 73, of Tifton died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Flat Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County. Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Rev. Junior Swain will officiate with burial to follow in Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Shoupe was born on December 2, 1934 in Kinard, Florida and was the son of Andrew Shoupe and Frances Willard Ayars Shoupe, both deceased. He was retried as a bag handler with Union Camp and was a member of Flat Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County.
Mr. Shoupe is survived by his wife, Margie Marchant Shoupe of West Berrien Community; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Ricky Dale and Tammy Shoupe of Saint Augustine, Florida, Michael Leon Shoupe of Enigma, Gregory Donald and Vickie Shoupe of Enigma and Darren Keith and Carla Shoupe of Tifton; two sisters, Gladys Baker of Brookneal, Virginia and Myrtle Eldridge of Sylvester; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
