Normajean Fern Ursin Batz, 62, of Sycamore passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Tift Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Private family services will be held at a later date.
She was born on October 13, 1945 and preceded in death by her parents, Fern Grace Hartman Krotz and Frank Krotz, and her birth father, John Ursin.
Normajean was a native of Barrington, Illinois and moved with her family to Sycamore, Georgia in 1999. Normajean was a loving and nurturing woman and well loved by all those who knew her. She was a strong, honest, loyal and independent woman. She can be remembered greatly for her love of cooking and entertaining her closest friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Normajean is survived by her husband of 32 years, Wayne W. Batz of Sycamore; a loving son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Carrie Kolze of Sycamore; grandchildren, Sarah, Christian and Haley; her mother-in-law, Rose Batz of Sycamore; a sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Jim Boncimino of Ashburn; a brother-in-law, Sonny Matthews of Florida; nieces and their husbands, Shelly and Tony Caringola of Sycamore, and Jamie and Tim Lannon of Atlanta; a nephew, Tony Boncimino of Sycamore; great-nephews, Robert Boncimino and Nolan Lannon; a great-niece, Dylan Lannon; and many friends who will all miss her.
