WORCETER - Robert L. Beford, 91, of 10 Homestead Ave. formerly of Astatula, Florida and Spencer, died Thursday, February 13 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus.
He leaves his wife of 20 years Pauline M. (Desrosiers) King Beford; a brother Pierre Beford of Spencer; a nephew Henry Desrosiers of Spencer. He is predeceased by his first wife Rita Page and a sister Eva Manning. He was born in Spencer son of Alderic and Edmire (Giard) Beford.
Mr. Beford was a shoe maker for many years at Klevin Shoe in Spencer and H.H. Brown Shoe, retiring many years ago.
Funeral services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Spencer. There are no calling hours. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street, Worcester is directing arrangements.
