WORCESTER – Caroline T. Scanlon, 47, of 6 Belisle Ave., died Saturday, March 8, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
She leaves a son, Robert T. Clark of Worcester; her father, John A. Scanlon, Sr. of Worcester; 3 sisters, Barbara Scanlon of Fall River, Kathy Ortiz of Worcester and Pat Scanlon of Florida; her nephew, whom she raised, Mark A. Scanlon; several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John A. Scanlon, Jr. who died in January.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Irene (Donovan) Scanlon. She was a graduate of South High School.
Miss Scanlon worked as a nurses aide in several local nursing homes. She also worked as a private duty nurse for some of her own family. She enjoyed taking care of others and cooking.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 12, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Louis Church, 15 Lake St., Webster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. A calling hour will be from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Wednesday morning in the funeral home. (508) 943-1298
