WORCESTER-James F. Hanlan, 65, of Worcester, died Monday, March 10th in his home after a short illness He leaves his wife of 42 years, June B. (Ellis) Hanlan; three sons, James F. Hanlan, III and Jeffrey J. and Christopher M. Hanlan, all of Worcester; a daughter, Kimberly A. and her husband Robert M. Marini of Holden; three brothers, John Hanlan of Shrewsbury, Donald Hanlan of Oxford and Michael Hanlan of Sutton; three sisters, Mary Lou Hutchins of Rochdale, Deborah Woodcome of Worcester and Patricia Plante of Leicester; four grandchildren, Amelia Hanlan of Worcester, Emma Marini of Holden and Jacob and Taylor Hanlan of New Hampshire; several nephews and nieces; and his dog, Teddi. His sister, Joan Goodwin, predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, the son of James F. Hanlan, Sr. and Mary A. (Foley) Hanlan. Mr. Hanlan worked for 30 years for the City of Worcester Water Department in Holden. Mr. Hanlan was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed reading, playing cards and spending time with his family.
