Edward T. Cochrane of Dedham passed away on March 8, 2008 at the Wingate Nursing Home in Needham. He was 75 years old. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Alber) Cochrane.
Born in Dedham, he was the son of the late Raymond and Johanna Cochrane. A longtime Dedham resident, he was a former Coach of the Dedham Pop Warner Football and Dedham Little League. A Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps, he was a member of the Dedham American Legion Post #18.
He was the loving father of Diane Connolly and her husband John of Attleboro, Robert Cochrane and his wife Colleen, Kelley A. Cochrane, Edward Michael Cochrane and his wife Christine, all of Dedham and James Cochrane and his wife Christine of Norton. Also survived by 7 loving grandchildren; Meghan, Patrick, Shamus, Colin, John, Caitlyn and Emma. Brother of Albert Cochrane of Buzzards Bay and the late Raymond and Francis Cochrane, Elizabeth Turcotte and Irene Norton.
Funeral Service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 950 East St., Dedham, Wednesday at 10 AM. Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Tuesday, 4-8. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
