Francis M. Gallagher, 73, a longtime resident of Boston, MA. died at his home on Friday, March 7th, 2008.
He was born on February 23rd, 1935 to John and Jane (Hughes) Gallagher in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He attended St. Rita's Grammar School and he was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA. He was also a graduate of Suffolk University in Boston, MA. He worked various jobs throughout Boston. He worked at the Boston Garden until his retirement.
He is survived by one sister: Jane E. Melia of Methuen, MA. and as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins. He is pre-deceased by his brothers: Mark J. , John A., and James M. Gallagher.
Friends and family may attend a funeral service on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 at 1:00PM at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home. A burial service will follow in the St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Chapel & Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA.
