Rosemary (Zekas) Dennehy, of Newton, formerly of Wellesley, passed away March 6, 2008 in Newton. She was 74 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip F. Dennehy.
Born in Edwardsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Witcofsky) Zekas. She was a longtime Wellesley resident prior to relocating to Newton where she has lived for several years.
She was the devoted mother of Karolyn Shinnick of Milford, Anne Simmons of Carlsbad, CA, Philip Dennehy of Boston, Mary Ellen Dennehy of Natick and the late John Dennehy. Also survived by 7 grandchildren. Sister of Ruthann Isenberg of Pinehurst, NC, Rita Sielicki of Centerville and the late Eleanor Zekas.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., Wellesley, Monday at 8 AM. Funeral mass in St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
