WORCESTER___Helen M. (Dowgert) Gargolinski, 83, of 5 Amesbury St., died Monday Feb. 10 in her home.
Her husband of 53 years Joseph Gargolinski died in 1995.She leaves two sons, Joseph P. Gargolinski of Greenfield and Paul J. Gargolinski of Holden; two daughters, Jeanne A. Powers and Therese I. Palmer both of Holden; a brother, Edward Dowgert of West Boylston; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, B. Stanley Dowgert of Northampton and by a great-grandson. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Boleslaw and Josephine (Lisiewicz) Dowgert and lived here all here life.
Mrs. Gargolinski was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and its Womens Guild.She was graduated from Commerce High School.
The funeral will be held on Thursday Feb. 13 from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday Feb. 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Memorial Fund, 34 Ward St., Worcester, 01610.
