OXFORD____Rosemarie C. (Santo) Greene, 63, of 13 Bartlett St., formerly of St. Nicholas Ave., Worcester, died Monday February 10 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, 55 Lake Ave., North, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 40 Years, Charles H. Greene, Jr., a son, Charles H. Greene, III, of Albany, Missouri; a daughter, Charlene M. Cutroni of Oxford, with whom she made her home; a sister, Frances Wishart of Glastonbury, Ct., four grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Florence (Wrobel) Santo and lived most of her life in Worcester before coming to Oxford one year ago.
Mrs. Greene was a school crossing guard 13 years for the City of Worcester at St. Nicholas Ave. School and retired in 1991. Before then she was a registered nurse several years at University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester now known as UMASS Memorial Medical Center and also worked as a registered nurse at several area nursing homes.
She was graduated from Ascension High School and Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing both in Worcester. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Boston College, Chestnut Hill and her Masters degree in Psychology from Anna Maria College, Paxton.Mrs. Greene was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church, Worcester.
The funeral will be held on Friday February 14 from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
