Charles Mullaney, 65, a resident of Harborside Healthcare, Amesbury, MA, died on March 1, 2008.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on December 10, 1942, he was the son of the late William F. and Imelda A. (Dube) Mullaney. He was raised in Norfolk and also lived in Blackstone and Franklin.
Throughout his working years Charles was an employee of Holmes Transportation in Norfolk, Hamlin Cabinets in Norfolk, Standard Fittings Company in Framingham, and Allied Container in Dedham.
He was a goalie for the King Philip High School hockey team where he attended high school.
His hobbies included working on old cars, hockey and woodworking. He remodeled a house in Franklin where he resided for 6 years with his family.
He is survived by his two daughters, Renea Lambert and her husband Russell, Christine Klug and her husband Patrick both of North Attleboro, and his two sons, Charles Mullaney of Cranston, Rhode Island and Michael Mullaney of Norfolk. He is also survived by his four granddaughters Samantha Lambert, Sydney Lambert, Chantelle Mullaney and Victoria Klug and his two grandsons Robert Lambert and Kevin Klug.
Along with his children he leaves behind a longtime companion, Christine Anzaloni, six brothers Robert Mullaney of North Attleboro, Bernard Mullaney of Franklin, Norman Mullaney of Norfolk, Raymond Mullaney of Norfolk, Edward Mullaney of Norfolk and Kenneth Mullaney of Whitinsville, four sisters Mary Ellen Gattoni of Norfolk, Eleanor Canniff of Norton, Carol LeBlanc of Port Richey, Florida and Kathleen Sylvia of Spring Hill, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Thursday, March 13, from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.
