Obituary

TEWKSBURY: Kenneth A. Record, age 53, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury and Vietnam War veteran, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford.
Born in Lowell on June 17, 1954, he was the son of the late Miles and Gertrude (Dickson) Record.
Mr. Record attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1974.
Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Record was employed as a driller in the blasting industry for over 20 years.
He was a member of the New Colony Baptist Church of Billerica.
According to his family, he enjoyed needle point, playing board games, woodworking, fishing, dancing, playing bingo and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer M. Brady and her husband William of Sanford, ME and Michelle L. Record of Tewksbury; two sons, Kenneth R. and Robert M. L. Record both of Tewksbury; two sisters, Ethel Lynch and Ruth Record both of Tewksbury; two brothers, Ronald and Luke Record both of Tewksbury; five grandchildren.
Calling hours Friday, 11 a.m.–12 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Graveside services to follow at the Tewksbury Cemetery. Following the graveside service, all are invited to attend a memorial service celebrating Ken’s life at the New Colony Baptist Church, 30 River St., Billerica. www.newcolony.org
