New Bedford-Natalie (Vieira) Leonardo age 76 years died Sunday March 2nd at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow of Andrew F. Leonardo. She was the mother of Robert “Rob” Leonardo Fall River, MA. and the late Michael J. Leonardo. She was the grandmother of Jennifer Leonardo of Fairhaven, Michael J. Leonardo Jr. of New Bedford, and Samantha Leonardo of Acushnet. Mrs. Leonardo was the great-grandmother of Sean Thatcher Jr., Michael J. Leonardo III, and Nicholas Leonardo. She was the sister of the late John Vieira Jr.
Mrs. Leonardo was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Cruz) Vieira. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all her life. Natalie was a supportive and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the National Realtors Association.
In accordance with her wishes she was cremated.
Religious Services with ashes present will be Saturday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 10 A.M. Fr. Michael Racine will officiate. Visiting hours will take place prior to service starting at 8 A.M. Burial of ashes will follow at St. John Cemetery.
