PELHAM, NH - Anthony Luciano, 44, a resident of Pelham, NH, dedicated husband and father, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 1st at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl J. (Soper) Luciano to whom he was married for 22 years.
He was born in Malden on October 15, 1963, and was a son of Gina (Politano) Luciano of Malden and the late Gennaro Luciano. He was a graduate of Everett High School and received his bachelor degree from the Northeastern University in Boston.
Tony was employed in marketing and sales by SunGard Corporation in Tewksbury. Prior to that he was employed by MCI for 16 years.
He was an active member of Crossroad Baptist Church in Pelham, NH and was also very involved in the community, serving on committees, coaching sports teams, and volunteering.
In his free time he loved playing softball, and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children Michael Luciano, Joshua Luciano, and Kendra Luciano all of Pelham, NH; a brother Joseph Luciano and his wife Debra of Billerica; his mother and father-in-law Ken and Joan Soper of Windham, NH; two brothers-in-law Kenneth Soper and his wife Sue of Auburn, MA, and Stephen Soper and his wife Christine of Southwest Harbor, ME; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 4 until 8PM. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at the Granite State Baptist Church, in Salem, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Anthony Luciano Children's Educational Trust, C/O Crossroads Baptist Church, payable to the Anthony Luciano Trust C/O Crossroads Baptist Church, 43 Atwood Rd., Pelham, NH 03076.
