LOWELL—Luis A. Matos, 47 years old, a resident of Lowell, died Monday afternoon, March 3rd, at the Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, a son of Gilberto Matos Cabrera and Rosa M. Rivera Ramos, both of Puerto Rico. He was a graduate of Woburn High School.
Luis had been employed as a Computer Operator and more recently as a Technician by Comcast Cable Company.
Surviving him are his wife: Myra (Morales) Matos; his children: Luis A. Matos, Jr., Melissa Matos, and Betzaida Matos; two grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Gilberto Matos, Jr., Rosa M. Matos, Jorge Matos, and Evelyn Matos; also many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday, March 6th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38), Lowell. His funeral service to be held Friday morning at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
