ELNA I. G. BARRETTElna I.G. Barrett, 93, of Newton died Sunday Feb. 9, 2003 at her home in Newton.Born in Fitchburg she had lived in Newton for over 60 years.Wife of the late James E. Barrett, she is survived by her children Linda Polefka of Hingham, Winifred Pilla of Ogunquit, ME, Anthony Barrett of FL., Mary Ann Sands of Marion, Robert Barrett of Newton, Christopher Barrett of Walpole, and Deborah Lovequist of Mashpee; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James E. Barrett Jr.Relatives and friends will gather at the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner on Fri. Feb. 14 at 9 AM and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, River St. Waltham, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Thurs.
