Mountain View, Ca – John Pacheco Medeiros, age 89 years, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008, peacefully at El Camino Hospital. He was the husband of Delvina C. (Mello) Medeiros of Sunnyvale, CA. Mr. Medeiros was the father of David Medeiros, husband of Patricia of Fairhaven and father of John Medeiros of Fremont, CA, He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Nikolas Bernier, Dylan and Garrett Medeiros. He was the father of the late Joseph Medeiros.
Mr. Medeiros was the son of the late John and Mary J. (Botelho) Medeiros. He was born in New Bedford and had lived in this area most of his life, moving to California 26 years ago. Mr. Medeiros was a fish handler and worked for various fish houses.
Mr. Medeiros’ Funeral will be Friday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at St John Cemetery, New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours are Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
