Maria Manuela (Pereira) Rodrigues, age 70 of Fall River for 55 years, passed away March 2, 2008 in Fall River. Wife of Humberto E. Rodrigues. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores the daughter of the late Manuel C. & Violanta (Almeida) Pereira. Before retiring, she had worked as a Machine Operator for Santoro Mfg. in Fall River. She was a member of St. Michael Church and the Ateneu Luso Americano.
Besides her husband of Fall River, she is survived by three children: Gabriella Rosner of Mansfield, MA; Steven Rodrigues of Fall River; & Catherine Rodrigues of Dighton. One grandson: Connor P. Rodrigues. Two sisters: Gilberta Pacheco of Dartmouth & Armanda Oliveira of Fall River. Several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 10:30 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday 5-8 P.M.
