Marion B. (Guttadauro) Spadafora passed away on March 1, 2008. She was 92 years old.
Born and raised in Wakefield, Marion graduated from Wakefield High School. She was married to the late Peter Spadafora, her husband of 67 years. After Peter’s retirement in the mid-sixties, they enjoyed a wonderful life between New Hampshire and Florida.
Marion was the beloved mother of David Spadafora and his wife Ann of Peabody and Gail Sears and her husband Kenneth of Newburyport. She was the sister of the late Michael, Joseph and Fred Guttadauro, Sadie Pica, James Guttadauro, Frances “Chick” Dalesandro and Tee Guttadauro. Marion was the cherished grandmother of Jason Fortier, Jamie Dalton, Ryan Fortier and Jon Spadafora. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, March 5th at 7:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Avenue, Wakefield at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 4th from 5-8 p.m. Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
