Anilton Neves Lopes. 2 months old, of New Bedford, died Monday February 10, 2003 at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved infant son of Esmenia Neves and Nelson Lopes.
He was born on December 9, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Nelson Lopes of New Bedford; his grandparents, Olivia Lopes of New Bedford, Joao Lopes of Boston, Antonio Neves and Joana Neves, both of Brockton; his great-grandparents, Francisca Cruz and Maria Theresa Lopes, both of New Bedford; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday February 12, 2003 at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Tuesday evening 7-9 PM.
