Angelina (Barboza) Botelho, 95, of Port Charlotte, formerly of New Bedford, died Friday February 29, 2008 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francisco "Frank" Botelho.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Reis) Barboza, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Port Charlotte.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Botelho was formerly employed by Jaime's Sportswear as a stitcher for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick M. Botelho, and his wife Janice, of Port Charlotte and Francis D. Botelho, and his wife Donna, of New Bedford; four grandchildren, Francis Botelho, Jr., Robert Botelho, Melinda Botelho, and Tracy Viara; five great-grandchildren, Mykayla DeCosta, Matthew DeCosta, Emma Angelina Botelho, William Francisco Botelho, and Jessica Viara; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Lydia Nunes, Frank Barboza, George Barboza, and Mary Botelho.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM at St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
