Obituary

Vivian (Parillo) Capozzi of Stoughton, formerly of Dedham, Wareham and Boca Raton, FL, passed away February 29, 2008 in Stoughton. She was 95 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Capozzi.

Born in Dedham, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (DeNegris) Parillo. She was a longtime Dedham resident and was a member of the Italian American Citizen’s Club of Dedham.

She was the devoted mother of Frank A. Capozzi Jr. of Boca Raton, FL, Rose M. Simpson of Stoughton, June Koch of Boca Raton, FL, Anita J. Martin of Woodland, CA and the late Patricia DeVirgilio. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Sister of Constance Vozzella of Wareham, Mary Schiripo of Dracut, Florence Morelli of Norwood, Genaro “Jerry” Parillo of Dedham and the late Millie Parillo, Rose Colantoni, Edith Morelli, Alex Parillo, Felix Parillo and John Parillo. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, Wednesday at 8 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Vivian’s memory to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
