Obituary

AUBURN____Anne M. (Korsak) Bacinskas, 90 of Auburn, formerly of Worcester, died Friday February 29, 2008 in Christopher House, Worcester. Her husband, Daniel J. Bacinskas died in 1984.

She leaves a daughter-in-law, Carol Bacinskas of Newington, Ct., and granddaughters Dena and Karyn, a son, Joseph Bacinskas and his wife, Betty of Auburn and grandchildren Jennifer and Matthew, a niece, Linda Wall and her sons Benjamin and Jacob. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel J. Bacinskas, Jr., and a sister, Helen Golden. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Jacob and Louise (Zapalskas) Korsak and lived in Worcester for most of her life.

Mrs. Bacinskas worked 15 years for the Chess King Co. warehouse before retiring. Before then she was a retail sales clerk for 27 years. She was a member of the Lithuanian Charitable Society, the St. Joseph Senior Steppers and the retirees chapter of Teamsters local 170.

The funeral will be held on Monday March 3 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 189 Oxford Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held on Monday March 3 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
