Paul R. Doyle, 77, Derry, NH
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family February 27th, 2008. He was a Veteran of the Armed Services; Army & Air Force, where he served for 25 years. He proudly served his country in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After retiring from the Armed Services he was a member of the United States Postal Service; National Association of Letter Carriers; Branch #212, Lawrence, Ma. He was a loving family man, who was happiest when surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan; he enjoyed golf and the ocean. He was affectionately known by his family as "PaPa"
He will be forever missed by his wife of 54 years Carolyn (Kenney) Doyle of Derry, NH. His 4 children Stephen and Jayne Doyle, of Derry and Manchester NH, Nancy Doyle and Tim Walker of Cape Coral, Fla, Terence & Cindy Doyle of Derry, NH, Michael and Patricia Doyle of Manchester, NH, his 10 grandchildren Ryan Doyle, Kristen Bonacorsi, Patrick Doyle, Courtney D'Alessandro, Jeffrey Doyle, Craig Doyle, Katie Kowalczyk, Matthew Doyle, Paul Doyle, and Timothy Doyle, his 7 great grandchildren Tierney and Anthony Doyle, Jordin and Nathan Bonacorsi, Clover Kowalczyk, Olivia Lallo and Griffin Doyle, a sister Jayne Doyle of Wakefield, RI and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Monday, March 3, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Holy Cross Church, 187 Hampstead Rd, Derry. Interment rites with full military honors followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, Hampstead Rd., E. Derry.
