Elena Pasciuto, 88 of Medford died Thursday in Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Wife of the late Andrew Pasciuto. Born in Cambridge daughter of the late Erasmo and Erasma (Macero) Ventura. She was raised in Somerville and is a graduate of Somerville High School.
She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and photography. She was a dedicated family minded individual with a vibrant personality. In earlier years she was a very spiritual woman whose involvement in parish life was evident. A communicant of St. James Church, she attended daily Mass. Mrs. Pasciuto was a member of St. James Sodality and a member of the morning rosary group. She is the mother of Maryann Rainville and her husband John of Fitchburg, Frank Pasciuto and his wife Margaret of Lynnfield and Raymond Pasciuto of Medford. Loving grandmother of Richard Rainville and Victoria Pasciuto. Dear sister of Mary Spinosa and her husband Frank of Arlington, Albert Ventura and his wife Rita of Malden. Sister of the late Concetta Fantasia and Guido Ventura. Funeral from Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 am. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 – 8 pm. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
