Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Dorothy I. (Todd) Bagley, 88, of Poplar Park, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in the Addison Gilbert Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roland M. Bagley who died in August of 1985.
Born in Gloucester on May 5, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Vannah) Todd. She was a lifelong resident of Gloucester.
Dorothy was an active nursing home ministry volunteer and enjoyed spending time at the Rose Baker Senior Center in Gloucester.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rosemary and Salvatore Ciaramitaro of Glendale, AZ and Marjorie and Gregory Grace of Gloucester, four sons and daughters-in-law, Roland and Doris (Maddix) Bagley of Virginia Beach, VA, Paul and Nancy (Bouchie) Bagley of Gloucester, Capt.’s Kenneth and Sandra (Harris) Bagley of Leesburg, FL, Jeffrey Bagley of Quincy, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by three sisters, Margaret Sinagra, Evelyn Mason and Rena Todd and a brother, Edward Todd.
Her funeral services will be held on Saturday in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester at 11a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 – 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Parkinson’s Disease Assoc., 715 Albany St., C329, Boston, MA 02118. Interment will be held in the Beechbrook Cemetery, W. Gloucester.
