Theresa M. (Damiano) Grasso, 98, died at the Brockton Hospital on Tuesday, February 26. She was the wife of the late Anthony Grasso. Born and educated in Randolph, she was a resident of Bridgewater for 30 years. Mrs. Grasso worked for Raytheon in Quincy for 24 years before retiring at age 65. Prior to Raytheon, she worked in several shoe factories in the area. In her free time she loved crocheting and gardening.
Mrs. Grasso was the aunt and godmother of Priscilla Newton of Brockton and Michael Damiano of Wareham. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Nunzio Damiano, Dominic Damiano, Samuel Damiano, Samuel Damiano, Anthony Damiano, Michael Damiano, Louis Damiano and Peter Damiano.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, February 29 at 8:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church, Raynham at 9:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-7 PM. Burial will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Bridgewater.
