Patterson-Mrs. Josephine Horne, age 86, died February 26, 2008 at Altamaha Health Care in Jesup, after an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and attended Lake Chapel Church.
She is survived by four sons, Eddy Joseph Horne, David L. Horne and his wife Lanita, Howard L. Horne and his wife Teresa, and Clay Horne all of Patterson, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one special friend, Thetus Deal of Patterson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 11: 00 a. m. from the James R. Gordon Memorial Chapel of Howard~Jones~Nobles Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Lee and Reverend Byron Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Frank Horne, Dustin Horne, Ashley Horne, Barry Barnes, Wayne Lee, and Jimmy Roberson.
