Victoria Marvelle Cowenhoven of Waltham, Ma passed away on February 22, 2008 at Children’s Hospital in Boston. She was 8 months old. Victoria was a miracle to all who knew her and she was most well-known for her unrelenting fighting spirit and her will to prevail. She was loved by all who followed her story, by the staff at Children’s who cared for her, and by her family, and friends. She is survived by her parents, Sarah (Coates) Cowenhoven of Waltham, formerly of Colchester, Vermont and Peter Cowenhoven of Waltham, formerly of Redding, Connecticut. A gathering will be held at Peter and Sarah’s home (193 Brown Street, Waltham, MA) on Saturday, March 1 from 3-8 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 2 at Trinity Episcopal Church 11 Homer St. (at Centre St.) in Newton Centre at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, her parents have requested that donations be made to the Victoria Marvelle Cowenhoven Fund for Children through the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund.
