Francis E. “Frank” Crandall Jr. 63 of Franklin died February 25 in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester following a long illness.
Born Scituate, June 16, 1944 the son of the late Francis E. and Myrtle (Peterson) Crandall, Mr. Crandall was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Mr. Crandall attended local schools and had been a truck driver for many years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching NASCAR racing.
Mr. Crandall was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots and especially the Boston Bruins.
He is survived by his sisters Elizabeth Johnson of Eustis Florida, Donna Didonato of Mansfield, his brothers Robert Crandall of Framingham, Steven Crandall of Franklin, James Crandall of Whitinsville and he was the brother of the late Allan Crandall.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place Boston Ma 02215.
