Ms. Rawlene Lizotte, age 51, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died very unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 20th, 2008, at Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Lowell, on Sept. 3rd, 1956, daughter of the late Albert J. & Rita Rawlene (Dinsmore) Lizotte. Rawlene attended Lowell Schools., and graduated from Lowell High School.
She has been employed by the Fairhaven Nursing Home for many years, as a Nurse's Assistant. She was a dedicated and passionate worker, and would often be seen in her work attire.
She is survived by her two sisters and a brother-in-law: Sue & Rick Corso, and Lisa Lizotte; her great-grandfather, Robert Vaillancourt; three nieces: April Corso, Holly Corso, and Rita Lizotte, all of Lowell; her longtime companion, Frank DaRocha of Lowell; also several aunts, and many cousins.
Visiting Hours for Rawlene Lizotte will take place on Monday at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 PM.
