Obituary

Salem, NH – William E. “Bill” Devine, 52, died Saturday at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Methuen January 13, 1956, he was the son of John A. Devine, Sr. and the late Josephine (Quirinale) Devine.
For many years Bill was employed as a Truck Driver for the Tom Shearer, Co. before a trucking accident caused him to become disabled.

According to his family, he was a true motorcycle enthusiast, a great chef, who loved the outdoors both hunting and fishing. It might be noted that music played a large role in his life playing 1st of all at the Methuen Organ Hall at the age of 12. Also he was an overall musician playing instruments; (guitar, piano, and drums.) The most important love of his life was his family.
Bill is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. (Chandler) Devine, children; Matthew A. Devine, Gina Devine, Angela Devine, Scott & his wife Lori Chandler and Rob Giallongo. His father John A. Devine, Sr. brothers and sisters John A. Devine, Jr., and wife Jodi, Bart & wife Mary Devine, Maureen & husband Rick Belden, Mary & husband Michael Capparielli-Mounts, Peggy & Al Pepper, 3 grandchildren Matthew, Emma, & Ben as well as his uncle Bart Quirinale & several nieces and nephews and his many friends.
Bill was predeceased by his mother Josephine (Quirinale) Devine his sister Nancy Palermo and niece Jennifer Devine.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica Parish of Methuen with burial to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
