Irene E. (Blair) Charpentier, 89, of Manchester died February 25, 2008 at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Community after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on May 17, 1918, she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Masson) Blair. She lived in Manchester most of her life.
Mrs. Charpentier was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed bowling and participated in several bowling leagues.
She was married to Roger M. Charpentier who died in 2006.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes four children, Pauline R. Charpentier of Maynard, MA, Janet M. Charpentier and her husband, Jim Kowalski of Osterville, MA, Doris A. Charpentier of New York, NY, and Leo R. Charpentier and his wife, Anita of Hunt Valley, MD; four grandchildren, Michael Kowalski and MaryAnn Kowalski both of Osterville, MA, and Monica Charpentier and Erik Charpentier both of Hunt Valley, MD; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday February 28, 2008 at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH
