Peter Michael Walter Miller passed away February 22, 2008 in Boston at age five days. He was the cherished son of Michael and Amy (Bowman) Miller of Mattapoisett, and the grandson of Gary and Susan Miller of Acushnet and Walter and Rosemary Bowman of Mattapoisett. He was the great-grandson of William Miller of New Bedford and the late Muriel Miller, Lorette Barrieau of New Bedford and the late Armand Barrieau, the late Henry and Janet Zajac, and the late Walter and Martha Bowman.
He also leaves his aunt and uncle, Andrea and Timothy Bachand, his uncle, Michael Bowman, all of Mattapoisett; his uncle, Marc Miller of New Bedford; and three dear cousins, Julianna and Tessa Bachand of Mattapoisett, and Riley Miller of Fairhaven.
Peter was the beloved great-nephew of Wayne and Margarete Miller, Robin Miller, John and Pauline Machado, Michael and Ann Zajac, Peter and Judy Zajac, all of New Bedford, Len and Janet Shartle of Fairhaven, Henry and Kathy Zajac of Mattapoisett, Mort and Barbara Zajac of Mashpee, Stan and Ann Scholl of Wisconsin, and the late Roland Barrieau.
Many additional friends, relatives and special cousins, including MaryJane Coulliard, Mark Zajac, Joseph Zajac, Martha Zajac Schwartz, John Zajac, Jane Zajac, Craig Zajac, Brian Zajac, Timothy Zajac, Christina Zajac, Czarina Shartle, Thomas Machado, Randin Fernandes, Mindy Oliveira, Kristen Perry, Brian Miller, Julie Miller, Tricia Miranda, and Tarrah Preusser rejoiced in his birth and mourn his loss.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Anthony's Church, Mattapoisett. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett.
