Edward Augustine McMahon, Jr. 88, a longtime resident of Windsor Locks, Connecticut passed on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Genesis Health at Kimberly Hall in Windsor, CT.
He was born in Lowell, MA, on October 4th, 1919 to Edward A. Sr. and his mother Mary (Clinton) McMahon. He was raised in Lawrence and attended local schools. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a turret gunner on B29 aircraft in the Pacific Theater. Shortly after his discharge, moved to Connecticut and resided in Windsor Locks until his death. Employed as a machinist until his retirement at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, CT.
He is survived by his stepson Carl Larrabee and Carl's wife, Toni of Scottsdale, Arizona as well as several grand and great grandchildren, cousins, and grand nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be said in his name on Wednesday, Feb. 27th, 2008 at 1:00PM at the John Breen Funeral Home. A burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
