Christopher D. Burke 24, of Medford, MA, died unexpectedly on Thursday in Beverly. Born in Stoneham, son of David and Dorothy (Newman) Burke, he is a graduate of Medford High School, class of 2001. He was a Kitchen Aide, employed by Beverly Hospital in the cafeteria. In his spare time he enjoyed video games such as X files. He played drums, enjoyed fishing and was an avid sports fan. In younger days he was a member of the Medford High Marching Band. He is survived by three sisters: Jacqueline, Julia, and Sarah Burke all of Medford. Grandson of Edward and Helen Bockley, Richard and Frances Burke all of Medford. He will be sadly missed by his best Friend, “Max” the dog. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9 am. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 pm. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
