Laconia-Yvette (Dulac) Boudreau, 78, of 25 Union Avenue, formerly of 30 Spruce Street died Saturday morning, February 23, 2008 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a brief illness.
Yvette was the daughter of the late Odilon and Maria (Drouin) Dulac. A lifelong resident, she was born in Laconia on April 25, 1929, where she was raised and schooled, graduating from Sacred Heart School in 1943, and Laconia High School in 1947.
Prior to her retirement in 1990, Yvette was employed by New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. in the purchasing department for over 23 years. A lifelong communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Yvette was also a member of the Ladies of Sacred Heart, and a den mother for Sacred Heart Cub Scouts #62. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and was a faithful volunteer at blood drives. She was also an activities volunteer at St. Francis Healthcare Center. She was a member of the Laconia Elders Friendship Club.
Besides her parents, Yvette is predeceased by her husband Edward J. Boudreau in 2004.
Yvette is survived by her three sons, Michael Boudreau and his wife Patricia of Gilford, Gerard Boudreau and Isabelle Burns of Hollis, and George Boudreau and his wife Janice of Belmont; a sister, Rena Fitts of Gilford and Florida; seven grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive Yvette.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Adrien R. Longchamps pastor of the church celebrated the mass. Entombment followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery Chapel, Garfield Street, Laconia to await burial in the spring in the family lot. There were no visiting hours.
