WORCESTER-Christine V. (Smith) Blois, 93, of Worcester, died Friday, February 22nd in Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Marlborough. Her husband of 16 years, Marsden V. Blois, died in 1968. She leaves her daughter, Elizabeth R. wife of George Goodrich of Worcester; and several nephews and nieces. Five brothers and four sisters predeceased her.
She was born in Milford, the daughter of John E. and Elizabeth R. (Kenney) Smith. Mrs. Blois had been a teacher for the City of Worcester, first at Chandler Elementary School and retired in 1965 from the Granite Street School, she also taught at Our Lady of the Elms College. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a former member of Ascension Church.
The funeral is Tuesday, February 26th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, February 25th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
